Al Arabiya, citing informed sources, reported that Syria and Jordan issued two separate warnings to Iraqi officials about possible attacks by armed groups supported by the Islamic Republic.

According to Al Arabiya, an Iraqi political source said that Syria informed Baghdad that activities by Islamic Republic-supported militias had been monitored near the border strip, and contacted Iraqi officials to convey this warning directly.

A Jordanian informed source, also speaking to Al Arabiya, said that Amman intelligence provided Iraqi authorities with information about plans by Islamic Republic-backed armed groups to target Jordan’s territory and asked Baghdad to take action to contain these groups.
