A reporter for Israel’s Jerusalem Post, citing a U.S. official, reported that the Islamic Republic fired at least four ballistic missiles toward a U.S. military base in Jordan. Describing the attack as a “wide-ranging attack,” the U.S. official said that several ballistic missiles were launched in the attack. CENTCOM called the Islamic Republic’s new attack an IRGC “surprise attempt,” and said that all the missiles were intercepted.
