🔶 A military force was killed in Iranشهر in an armed attack

According to IRNA news agency, citing police in Sistan and Baluchestan province, the armed occupants of three passenger cars opened fire at law-enforcement officers at one of the checkpoints in Iranshahr County, as a result of which one military personnel was killed.

According to this report, the armed individuals who carried out the attack were “under police pursuit, and a security-and-law-enforcement plan is being carried out in the area surrounding the site of the incident.”

Meanwhile, the website “Hāl va Şau” (حال وش), which covers news from Sistan and Baluchestan, reported that the incident occurred on Wednesday evening, July 29 (7 Mordad), at about 10:30 p.m., during which “one of the officials of the Intelligence Organization of Iranshahr” named Mehran Salarzadeh was shot and killed after armed, unknown individuals opened fire at his home on خاتم‌الانبیاء Street.
