A group of Social Security retirees in Rasht, on Sunday, 17 Aban, gathered in protest over the failure to address their demands and the violation of their rights. The protesters, in support of political prisoners and the abolition of the death penalty, chanted slogans including “By the blood of our companions, until the abolition of the death sentence, we stand until the end” and “The protesting prisoner must be released.”
