🔶 Zelensky: It was Iran that attacked us first

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, says that his country’s attack on an Iranian ship in the Caspian Sea was not preemptive, and that Iran and North Korea, by supplying weapons, military technology, and manpower to Russia, had attacked Ukraine before this.

In an interview with Sky News, he spoke about “vigilance” regarding the risk of opening a new front, and emphasized that Ukraine would not take steps in that direction. But he added: “However, we must be honest: Iranians and North Koreans attacked us before. I hope they don’t increase these attacks, but we must be prepared for everything.”

Zelensky also, by saying that Ukraine has had no problem with either Iran or North Korea, accused these two countries of turning to hostility against Ukraine without any reason, and “by sending drones, missiles, 155-millimeter artillery shells, and manpower, including 10,000 North Korean soldiers, they have effectively acted alongside Russia against Ukraine.”
