🔻Yemen’s Houthis take responsibility for the attack on Aramco facilities of Saudi Arabia

According to reports by news agencies, the Houthis in Yemen have taken responsibility for an attack on Aramco facilities in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and said they targeted it with ballistic missiles and drones.

The Houthis said the attack was carried out in retaliation for attacks by Saudi Arabia on Sanaa and other areas of Yemen.

A witness told Reuters that earlier on Saturday, a large column of smoke and fire was seen near one of the Aramco facilities in Riyadh.

Saudi officials have not yet confirmed the attack on Aramco facilities, and Aramco has not immediately responded to a request for comment.

The report comes as tensions between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis have intensified.
