🔻Reuters: A large column of smoke is seen near Aramco facilities in Riyadh

Reuters reported, citing an eyewitness, that a large column of smoke and fire rose near one of the facilities of the Aramco oil company in Riyadh.

Saudi officials have not confirmed the matter, and no individual or group has claimed responsibility.

Hours earlier, Agence France-Presse had reported hearing intense explosions in Sanaa, Yemen’s capital, and Al Masirah, the Houthi television network, had said that Saudi Arabia carried out airstrikes in areas of Sanaa.

The Houthis had said last week that they targeted “Saudi Aramco” facilities in Yanbu with missiles and drones.

At the time, Saudi Arabia said it intercepted six Houthi ballistic missiles aimed at Taif and Yanbu, but it did not publish any report about damage to Aramco facilities.
