. 🔸 Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, met with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, in Turkmenistan on Thursday, 16 Mehr.

🔸 The Russian president, during the meeting held on the sidelines of the meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States, expressed readiness to take all necessary steps to help bring the Iran war to an end.

🔸 Putin told Pezeshkian: “For our part, we are prepared to do everything we can to help you resolve this situation.”

🔸 Pezeshkian also informed Putin that Iran and the United States are reviewing new proposals to end this dispute.

🔸 Pezeshkian told the Russian president: “We have put forward proposals, and the Americans have also raised new proposals. We have made changes to these (new) proposals. After this process (of applying changes to the new proposals) is finalized, there is a plan for us to meet with the mediation of intermediaries and reach an agreement.”
