Saudi Arabia’s Civil Aviation Authority announced in a statement on Friday, 17 Mehr that, following two attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Thursday, three citizens of the country were killed and a number of Saudi citizens and foreign nationals were injured.
According to the report, in the first attack, airport facilities were targeted, and in the second attack, one of the aircraft of Saudi Airlines was targeted.
The organization said that after these two attacks, airport operations resumed and flight traffic returned to normal.
Saudi Airlines also announced that one of its employees was among the killed, and one of its aircraft was damaged while parked on the ground at the airport.
Saudi Arabia’s Civil Aviation Authority further announced that operations at King Khalid International Airport have resumed and air traffic at this airport has returned to normal.
