‌🔻The UN human rights commissioner said that, since 28 Esfand (19 March), at least 56 people have been executed in Iran on charges related to national security.

Volker Türk said that, based on official statements, 27 of the executed people were in cases related to the protests of Dey.

In a statement, Mr. Türk said that, since the start of the war, the issuance of death sentences and the carrying out of executions have increased.

He urged Iranian authorities to halt all death sentences and move toward abolishing this punishment.
