🔻Iranian media: The reason for the delay in the agreement with Oman is Trump’s threats

Iranian media, including the Tasnim news agency, citing an informed source who has spoken with Sepah News, say that “the main reason for the delay in the agreement with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz is American interference and Trump’s threats.”

The source said that “as long as there is American interference and a threat of a military attack on Iran, the agreement will be delayed,” and “Iran will not make any agreement under the shadow of threats.”

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to reopen the Strait of Hormuz alongside Iran’s offer of optimism, saying that if no agreement is reached, he would attack it.

Mr. Trump said that “the strait will be opened very soon; otherwise, they (Iran) will be targeted severely and in any case the strait will be opened.”
