U.S. President Donald Trump, on Sunday, October 3, at an election event in the U.S. state of Michigan, while referring to the United States’ withdrawal from the nuclear deal, the JCPOA, with the Islamic Republic, said: “I scrapped the Iran nuclear deal of Barack Hussein Obama—the same Iran nuclear deal, a path that led the [Islamic Republic] Iran to a nuclear weapon. This is the worst and most dangerous agreement I have ever seen.”

He continued by referring to the U.S. military operation against the Islamic Republic, saying: “We destroyed the [Islamic Republic] Iran’s nuclear enrichment capability with the midnight hammer operation and the Proud Anger operation. We defeated them militarily, financially, and in other areas.”

Mr. Trump emphasized: “Now we are making sure that [Islamic Republic] Iran will never, never, never, never, never obtain a nuclear weapon.”

The U.S. president also said about the end of this process: “You’ll see that this matter will end soon, in one way or another.”
