U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that Iran’s acquisition of a nuclear weapon is in conflict with the vital interests of the United States, and that Washington has made its position clear regarding the “Midnight Hammer” operation so far.

Hegseth added that the Strait of Hormuz is not controlled by the Islamic Republic and that the U.S. has control over it. He emphasized that if Tehran does not make the right decision, all options will be on the table.
