The U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, wrote in a post on the social media platform X that “Special Operations Force 99” of the U.S. Air Force’s Central Command is providing new drone and communications capabilities to operational forces deployed in the Middle East.

The message also says that the special force operates as a lab in the operational area and tests “innovative ideas with the aim of increasing combat effectiveness in the battlefield.”
