🔶 US preparing to determine where Hamas weapons will be delivered in Gaza

Walla website reported that American officials and representatives of the “peace delegation” intend to carry out an on-the-ground inspection and mapping exercise in the Gaza Strip, within the framework of Donald Trump’s 20-point plan, to identify locations for the delivery of Hamas weapons.

According to the report, the purpose of this field review is to determine points that, geographically, would be suitable for the delivery of weapons to members of Hamas. The process is presented as part of the US plan to advance the reconstruction of Gaza in the face of Hamas disarmament.

Israeli defense officials have expressed confusion over Washington’s approach to the reconstruction of Gaza, saying that the United States wants to speed up procedures that do not match developments on the ground.

Security officials aware of the details of the regional process told Walla that there is a major gap between Hamas’s behavior and the US’s demands to advance reconstruction in exchange for weapons deliveries.
