🔶 Trump: If Iran doesn’t agree to end the war, I’ll finish the job
The U.S. president, in an interview with Fox News, once again emphasized that Tehran would never obtain nuclear weapons.
Donald Trump also claimed that the late hardline senator, Lindsey Graham, had asked him to reach an agreement with Iran instead of “destroying the rest of this country.”
Trump has repeatedly backed away from his threats to destroy bridges, power plants, and other infrastructure in Iran, but in an interview with Fox News he said that if the leaders of Iran do not agree to end the war, the United States “will finish the job.” He added that in that case millions of people will face difficulties to make a living.
According to Trump, “eliminating” most of Iran’s bridges would take less than an hour, and America could detonate “their” power plants within “a day,” and then target desalination facilities. He said: “You know, if I can avoid doing it, I’d rather not.”
