Trump: If Iran does not agree to a deal, we will hit the “Cleng Gezla” mountain, bridges, and power plants

🔸 Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said on Tuesday that there have been good talks with Iran, but once again threatened that if Tehran does not reach an agreement with the United States, it will target underground facilities in Iran’s “Cleng Gezla” mountain, as well as the country’s bridges and power plants.

🔸 In an interview with Fox News, he said that if possible, he would prefer not to target Iran’s bridges and power plants.

🔸 Trump explained: “I can shut down all of their power plants in a day. All of their power plants will be gone. I think about 91 million people will have to live without power and without bridges. And this is a very, very delicate balance.”

🔸 He added: “They know that if they do not make an agreement, I will do this.”

🔸 Donald Trump warned: “I can say that within two hours, more bridges—main bridges—all will be destroyed—and the power plants within a day.”

🔸 He also said: “If I can avoid doing this, I would prefer to avoid it.”

🔸 The U.S. president also, referring to the memorandum of understanding signed between Washington and Tehran in Khordad—just before falling apart amid the July clashes—said: “We can no longer allow them to violate the agreements.”
