🔸Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense said its air defenses intercepted and destroyed several drones that had targeted oil facilities in the eastern province of the country.

🔸On Tuesday, Turki Al-Maliki, the spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, said on the social media platform X that the drones were launched from Iraqi soil and by groups he called “Iran-backed terrorist militias.”

🔸He added that Saudi Arabia considers its right to defend itself and its vital facilities to be legitimate, and that it will respond to these attacks “at an appropriate time and place.”
