🔶 Trump: Conflict with Iran can be resolved in a hard or easy way
Donald Trump, president of the United States, said on Saturday, October 3, that Iran has “effectively given up any program for developing nuclear weapons”—an issue that is one of the main and repeatedly stated objectives of his administration in its war with Tehran; a war that has now entered its eighth month.
Trump warned Iran that the standoff between the two countries can be settled “in a hard way or an easy way.”
In remarks to reporters as he left the White House to attend an election rally in Vandalia, Ohio, Trump said: “We’ve made a decision about Iran that I will take.”
Trump also claimed that, as a result of the United States’ military campaign, Iran has been “severely battered” and is “effectively abandoning any program” for building nuclear weapons.
Trump also said that the price of oil is currently falling; prices that rose for a long time after Israeli and U.S. attacks on Iran on February 28.
