کامبیز توانا، an editorial board member of Iran International, referring to recent positions taken by U.S. government officials, said that in recent days talk of reaching an agreement with the Islamic Republic has become less frequent, while economic and diplomatic pressure continues and America’s military presence in the region has also become heavier.

He added that it is not yet clear how this trend will unfold and how far it will continue, but if the United States moves toward conflict with the Islamic Republic, it is unlikely that it will repeat the previous pattern and it may adopt a different approach.
