These videos from today, 6 Mehr, show collective protests by students of Allameh Tabataba’i University in Tehran.

The students gathered in protest over rising prices, unemployment, and mandatory hijab, chanting “We don’t want your talk, we don’t want it” and “Unemployment, unemployment; your hijab is compulsory.”

The students’ protest has been described as against increases in tuition for night classes and academic years (“sanaati”), dormitory provisions, meal services, and mandatory hijab.
