The Wall Street Journal reported that the George Washington aircraft carrier is preparing in the Arabian Sea for a possible attack on Iran and has received long-range missiles and bunker-busting bombs.

At the same time, Reuters reported on a possible plan by the Islamic Republic to target the cables of the Persian Gulf. American media also reported threats against U.S. officials and a reduction in the number of diplomats from this country in the region.
