The President of the United States said that there was an “all-day negotiation” with the Islamic Republic on Tuesday. Donald Trump, in an interview with a program on Fox News, said: “We have very good conversations.”

He said the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened “very soon” and warned that otherwise the Islamic Republic will be dealt a hard blow. Trump added: “If they pull back again, they will really get hit hard.”

Qatar announced on Tuesday that mediators have made progress in efforts to end the war.

Axios reported that the United States, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Oman have neared a temporary 60-day agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and Washington is aiming to announce it on Wednesday.
