Donald Trump, the President of the United States, on Thursday, in part of a message he posted on social media, said that the Islamic Republic continues to carry out killings of protesters and other people who stand against the government.

Mr. Trump called the Islamic Republic a “truly evil regime.” He also said that “75,000 protesters have been killed in less than seven months.”

The U.S. president criticized “the indifference of the international community and the Democratic Party of the United States to these killings.”
