The President of Israel said the Islamic Republic remains a major threat to the United States and global stability. Isaac Herzog said in an exclusive interview with Fox News that this government has been a strategic threat to global stability for decades—not only for Israel and the Middle East.

He said: “They take food and money from their own people and spend it on terrorism across the world. This is an indisputable fact.”

Herzog said the roots of this behavior lie in ideology, and said: “You ask yourselves why a country with this kind of character wants so much terrorist activity around the world, and the answer is ideology. This ideology does not accept any other religion—nor even moderate Islam. That’s why it is so dangerous.”

He added that signs of this ideology can be seen in the missile program, in the Strait of Hormuz, in nuclear ambitions, and in the country’s “mass killing of tens of thousands of citizens.”

Herzog said: “Many American citizens have been killed by this government. So this is a major threat to American national security interests.”
