The Instagram page of the cultural-artistic institute “Istgah” reported the release of a video showing the performance of memorable Japanese pieces by the Japanese ambassador in Iran, and announced that the event was held in the lead-up to the 100th anniversary of Iran–Japan relations.

According to the explanations published, Tsukada Tamaki, the Japanese ambassador in Iran, appeared in the latest international project of the cultural-artistic institute Istgah as a flute player (soloist) and performed pieces from popular Japanese sets, including “Oshin,” “Haniko,” and “The Land of the North.”

The project was carried out under the management of Mehdi Nowrouzi, the founder of the cultural-artistic institute Istgah.

In the text published by the institute, it was stated that these melodies, which have remained in the memories of many Iranians for years, were performed once again in order to revive part of the shared cultural memory of the two nations of Iran and Japan.
