❗The Houthis of Yemen’s Ansar Allah rebel group struck Riyadh International Airport with a ballistic missile, the movement’s military spokesman Yahya Saria stated.
“Our armed forces succeeded in striking King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the Houthi spokesman, the direct hit brought air traffic at the Saudi capital’s airport to a halt. Saria also called on international airlines to refrain from flying over Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the kingdom’s airspace “has become a theater of war,” with the exception of Mecca and Medina, which are sacred to Muslims.
