The body of Amirhossein Safarí, one of two protesters executed in the early hours of Tuesday the sixth of Mordad, was laid to rest in Khor and Biabanak County, a part of Isfahan Province. This place is about a 5-hour drive from the city of Isfahan.

Abolfazl Sepahi and Amirhossein Safarí, two of the detainees in the protests of December 1404, were executed publicly at Ali Khani Square in Isfahan. A short while earlier, Erfan Esfandiyari and Gol Mohammad Mohammadi, two other defendants in this case, had also been executed.

Before the execution of these two political prisoners, the families of political prisoners sentenced to death and citizens had gathered at Ali Khani Square in Isfahan, and clashes broke out between the Islamic Republic’s Special Forces and the protesters.
