Stephen Miller, deputy chief of staff at the White House for policy, told reporters: “Trump has achieved more than anyone else in the history of fighting Islamic terrorism by the Islamic Republic government in this country. Today the Strait of Hormuz is open for the United States and closed for Iran.”

He continued: “Their naval forces are gone, their air forces are gone, their radars are gone, and their military command structure has been completely destroyed. The terrorist leadership of this country has also been completely eliminated.”

Miller described this situation as “the most asymmetrical military achievement in the modern history of war.”
