🔶 Statement by 56 Countries on the Anniversary of the Return of Sanctions Against Iran

Fifty-six countries around the world, in a joint statement marking the anniversary of the return of international sanctions against Iran, known as the snapback mechanism, stated that Iran must adhere to its commitments regarding its nuclear and missile program.

These countries, in accordance with their commitments, will continue to take measures within the framework of their domestic and international legal authorities and rules to prevent the supply, sale, or transfer to Iran of items, materials, equipment, goods, and technology that could help with proliferation-sensitive nuclear activities or the development of systems for nuclear weapon delivery.
