Rashad Alimi, head of the presidential ruling council of Yemen, referring to the advance of government forces in the Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, Taiz and Hudaydah fronts, said that the Houthis have chosen a path of escalating tensions and must accept its consequences.

He emphasized that Yemen’s armed forces have taken the initiative on the battlefield and will continue their operations until the state institutions are recaptured and the government’s authority is expanded across all of Yemen.

Alimi also praised the role of the air force and drones in supporting ground forces, and asked citizens in the operational areas to follow the instructions of the armed forces in order to maintain their security.
