Qatar, while strongly condemning the Islamic Republic’s renewed breaches of Jordan and Kuwait, called for an end to these attacks.
In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks by the Islamic Republic violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, constitute a flagrant breach of international law, and contravene the principles of good-neighborliness.
In its statement, Qatar described these attacks as a dangerous escalation that could further complicate efforts made to contain tensions and undermine political and diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while emphasizing the immediate and complete cessation of all military actions and attacks that threaten security and stability in the region, called for refraining from any act that would lead to the expansion of the scope of tensions.
Qatar considered a serious return to the path of dialogue and negotiations, and adherence to understandings reached through diplomatic efforts, as necessary.
