🔶 Putin and Pezeshkian meeting; Moscow’s readiness to help end the war against Iran
Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, in a meeting with Masoud Pezeshkian, his Iranian counterpart, announced Moscow’s readiness to help end the war and the crisis in the Middle East.
According to a report by TASS news agency, on Thursday, October 8, Putin said in the meeting: “We are ready to do everything in our power to help resolve this situation.” The Russian president also added that Iran has made real efforts to end the war by the United States and Israel against Iran.
Meanwhile, emphasizing Tehran’s desire to resolve the dispute diplomatically, Masoud Pezeshkian said that Iran would not back down from the path of negotiations.
According to a statement from the office of the President of Iran, Pezeshkian stated: “We are in talks; however, every time we speak with the United States, they carry out new attacks. Despite this, we will not leave the negotiating table.”
Pezeshkian also announced: “At present, we are working on compiling the proposals and, after the final text is ready, we will review it through intermediaries and convey all the proposals.”
