Pakistan’s prime minister, in a message on the X social media platform, while condemning the “terrorist attacks” by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia, emphasized his country’s steadfastness in the face of these threats.
Shehbaz Sharif, while condemning the attacks on civilian infrastructure, including the King Khalid and Abha airports, thanked Saudi Arabia’s armed forces and coalition forces for their vigilance in protecting the lives of innocent people.
He stated: Pakistan stands firmly and resolutely alongside the leadership and the people of Saudi Arabia.
The Pakistani prime minister, referring to the “Joint Defense Pact of Mecca,” wrote: within the framework of this agreement, our commitment to Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security is an unwavering and inviolable commitment.
Sharif, emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s full right to defend itself, added: the Houthi militias must immediately put an end to these attacks.
According to him, Pakistan will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia in dealing with these threats.
