🔶 Pakistan urged Iran to rein in Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia

According to a report by the Financial Times, Asim Munir, commander of the Pakistan Army, has asked Iran to take action to curb the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia.

As sources for the British newspaper say, Asim Munir referred to the mutual defense agreement between Islamabad and Riyadh in this regard.

He has also, on several occasions, asked Iranian officials to help stop the Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia and the country’s energy infrastructure.

The sources say that, in these meetings, the Pakistan army commander referred to Islamabad’s commitments to Riyadh, but did not raise any specific threat against Iran.
