🔶 Abdolhamid: Most of the recent executions are political in nature

Moulana Abdolhamid, the Sunni Friday prayer leader in Zahedan, on Friday, 27 Shahrivar (18 September), during the Zahedan Friday Prayer ceremony, referring to the fourth anniversary of the death of Mahsa Jina Amini and the protests that followed, said that this event led to a popular uprising and public protests in Iran.

This prominent Sunni cleric, referring to protests in recent years, including the protests after the death of Mahsa Jina Amini, the “Bloody Friday of Zahedan,” the protests of Aban 1398, and the events of Dey 1404, said that a large number of citizens lost their lives in these events and many families were left mourning.

Abdolhamid, while expressing condolences to the families of those who died, described these events as bitter and distressing.

The Sunni Friday prayer leader in Zahedan accused officials of the Islamic Republic of not listening to the people’s voices, and said that if they had paid attention to people’s demands and created changes in the country, people would not have been killed and Iran would not have found itself in its current conditions.
