The UK government, by updating its domestic defense plans and emergency preparedness guidelines, asked its citizens to be prepared for severe disruptions to public services.
The guidance includes scenarios such as power and water outages, large-scale cyberattacks, and conditions arising from military conflict. People have also been asked to stock up on food, drinking water, medicine, and batteries.
