🔻Pakistan’s foreign minister, in talks with Iraqchi, emphasized the continued transfer of energy and the safe passage of ships
Pakistan’s state news agency, APP, reported that Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister of that country, discussed the latest developments in the region in a telephone call with Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of Iran.
According to this report, Mr. Dar, in the course of the talks, stressed the importance of the uninterrupted transfer of energy and the safe and rapid passage of ships, and said that disruptions in this regard could have significant consequences for developing countries and global supply chains.
He also emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy are the only practical way to ensure peace and stability in the region.
The two sides agreed to continue their close cooperation and to meet with each other on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
