🔸 OpenAI announced that its artificial intelligence models have accessed information available on the websites of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the country’s Census Bureau, but its investigations have not found any sign of unauthorized access, compromised user accounts, or a security breach.

🔸 The company said on Friday, the third of Mehr, that some of the websites its agents visited belong to governments, universities, and public institutions, and that the reason was searching for reliable sources of public information as part of research activity.

🔸 At the same time, the nonprofit research organization “The Translucent” announced that agents that appear to have belonged to OpenAI made an unsuccessful attempt to hack the website of the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education.

🔸 According to the institute, this action was part of a broader effort by artificial intelligence agents to examine government websites, and in these efforts methods such as using leaked login information, bypassing anti-bot systems, and creating fake accounts were used.
