🔸Naz Mahdavi, the sister of Hamid Mahdavi, the firefighter killed in the protests of Dey 1404, attended his grave on Firefighter’s Day wearing one of her brother’s work uniforms.

🔸On Wednesday, 8 Mehr, Mahdi wrote in an Instagram post: “Yesterday instead of you I wore one of your firefighters’ uniforms—the one I really liked and kept saying would suit you.”

🔸Hamid Mahdavi, born in 1366, a firefighter living in Mashhad, was killed on the evening of 18 Dey 1404 during the protests.

🔸A short video of him carrying an injured protester was widely circulated across social media in Iran and around the world.

🔸His body was laid to rest in the cemetery of Toveh Davar village in Damghan County, his mother’s birthplace.
