In the sermons of Friday prayers in this city, Naser Mohammadi, the temporary Friday prayer imam of Yazd, referring to the issue of the war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, said: “The war should continue for as long as it takes for us to feel at ease. We want peace and lasting security, and this security must be reliable.”
Mohammadi added: “Our enemy is global arrogance, led by the United States, which wants to destroy our country; therefore, negotiations and peace with such an enemy have no meaning unless it completely gives up its goals and positions.”
Regarding the exchange of messages between the Islamic Republic and the United States, the temporary Friday prayer imam of Yazd said: “The United States has repeatedly spoken about peace while, at the same time, seeking to carry out an attack. The U.S. president also says one thing in the morning and something else at night.”
Mohammadi also spoke about the issue of “improper hijab,” saying: “It has been announced that the prosecutors must deal with this crime, but with nearly 10 days having passed, nothing has happened; therefore, we request that officials carry out this matter.”
