🔶 Mohsen Rezaei Threatened the United States With a “Devastating Response”

Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic, on Saturday (16 Aban) issued a message on the social media platform X in which he strongly criticized U.S. officials for their performance in the war against Iran and for the defeat of Republicans in the midterm elections to the U.S. Congress.

In the message, which was published in English, Rezaei wrote: “You lost both the war and the election. Vance has admitted defeat, Rubio is on the verge of leaving, Hagset is about to be removed, and the CENTCOM commander has now become a podcast maker!”

He then added, addressing Washington officials: “So exactly to whom in Washington should we deliver this message? Start a war and you will face a devastating response.”

However, Rezaei’s claim about the imminent removal of Pete Hegset, the U.S. Defense Secretary, has not been confirmed. In an interview with ABC News on Thursday (14 Aban), Trump said that he intends to keep Hegset in his position.
