🔸Mohammad Islami, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, says Donald Trump’s threats to bomb the Kuh-e Kalang nuclear site in Iran show that international organizations are “tools” of the United States and Israel.
🔸He said on Wednesday, in response to a question about the possible undisclosed activity at sites such as Kuh-e Kalang— which Trump had previously threatened to bomb— that “these threats serve as lessons from history, that international organizations are ‘playthings in the hands of the ruling and oppressive system of America and the Zionists.’”
🔸Islami also said about the IAEA’s inspection of Iran’s nuclear facilities that have been targeted by U.S. and Israeli attacks: “Until the rules and inspection protocols for sites that have come under military attack are drafted, approved, and communicated, the Agency cannot claim to have inspections.”
🔸Earlier, Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, had said that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium after U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear centers remained intact at those same locations.
