Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of Parliament, on Wednesday 28 Mordad, in his speech at Baghdad airport and at the site where Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, was killed, said that “today the entire region considers Israel its enemy” and described the goal of his trip to Iraq as “accelerating the new order of the region, without foreign interference.”

Qalibaf said: “Just look at the region and you will see who is winning, and the killing of Qassem Soleimani “could not stop the victory of the resistance.”

He also said that the countries of the region should “pursue security and deep relations, and the Islamic Republic is prepared for this.”
