Messages and images received from several universities indicate poor dorm conditions, disorder in holding classes, and an intensified security atmosphere.
Students at Zabol University have reported that the dormitories are contaminated and that they have been harmed or that their personal belongings have been damaged or lost, and a Payame Noor University student said that, despite two weeks since the reopening, the status of some classes and instructors is still unclear.
At the same time, students reported an increase in the presence of security staff and the Basij, and confrontations with students under the pretext of covering news.
More details in an interview with Leila Saadati, a member of the Iran International editorial team.
