Hossein Aqayi, a member of Iran International’s editorial team, citing a report by The New York Times about the swift withdrawal of U.S. bombers from the Fervford base, said Washington still considers the security threat to its forces and equipment at that base to be serious.

He added that one of the possibilities regarding security concerns at the Fervford base is the espionage of external agents into U.S. military activity there, especially by China and the Islamic Republic.
