Mehdi Maslehi, an oil market expert, said that the ministry that was supposed to be the country’s main source of income now needs assistance to obtain financing.

He emphasized that ambiguity about oil revenues and where this money returns, along with pressure from sanctions, has put the Ministry of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran in serious difficulties.
