Majid Ibn al-Ridha, acting defense and armed forces logistics minister of the Islamic Republic, in response to recent remarks by Donald Trump, the president of the United States, about using “mother of all bombs,” said that the Islamic Republic’s missile power has changed the equations.

Ibn al-Ridha wrote in a message on his social media network: “Headlines and the dimensions of the bombs don’t matter! Your bombs will explode elsewhere— in your global standing, in the U.S. economy, and even in your electoral equations!”

He added, referring to the Islamic Republic’s missile capability: “It is this missile power of ours that has changed the equations and has brought you to the point where you now have to say: Hello, sir!”
