🔸Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense on Friday, 9 Mordad, confirmed Iran’s drone attacks on the country’s “vital and military installations” and said it had monitored and neutralized the attacks.
🔸In a statement, Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense said that “hostile targets were hit and destroyed. This resulted in material damage due to shrapnel impacts, but no human casualties were recorded.”
🔸Earlier on Friday morning, Iran’s Islamic Republic Armed Forces had reported drone attacks on Kuwait. The army described the attack as a response to the United States’ attacks on Iran on Wednesday night, including an attack on a residential neighborhood on Qeshm Island, which Iranian officials said resulted in the deaths of three civilians, including a child.
🔸U.S. bases in Kuwait have been among Iran’s main targets in its new round of reciprocal attacks and have been hit almost daily by rocket and drone attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army.
