🔶 Katz: Israel’s work with Iran is not over yet

The Israeli defense minister said that his country’s work with Iran has not yet ended. He also accused the Iranian government of seeking to obtain nuclear weapons and, at the same time, warned Hezbollah that if Iran resumes the war, it should refrain from kindling fires.

Yisrael Katz said: “Regarding Iran, the mission is not yet over. Iran is trying to resume its actions to obtain a nuclear weapon and is, at the same time, pursuing other dangerous actions that present the State of Israel with a real threat.”

Speaking at a ceremony commemorating Israeli soldiers killed in the 1956 attack on Egypt, Katz said: “We may debate and disagree with one another, but when the country’s security is at stake, we must know how to move beyond our differences.”

The Israeli defense minister also said: “We will not withdraw from the security zones in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, and if the terrorist organization Hezbollah decides to join Iran in attacking Israel, it will suffer very severe blows.”
